Do you charge you’re PS3 gamepads or Xbox 360 gamepads (or both) off your PC USB ports?

I do! I figured why stress either game systems during downtime periods…especially for charging duties.

Just having the PC to do the duties and not hearing the Xbox 360 (for charging), is a Godsend.

i was thinking of this stupid idea where you charge 360 controller whilst playing ps3 games and charge ps3 controller whilst playing 360 games :devilish:

is it faster if you charge through different usb ports though???

My play and charge kit is always connected to my PC and I just plug it into controller when needed. My PC is much closer to my couch.

I charge my PS3 controller off my Wii.
I never play with the cable attached, as the one that came with PS3 is too short.

My PC, 360 and PS3 are all at the same place, but the PC USB hub is more convenient (and I'd rather break it) so I use it for the PS3. My 360 uses normal NiMh rechargeable batteries.

I used to use the pc when I first got my respective consoles although now I typically charge the Ps3 controller when i watch a movie and I have the quick charge kit for my 360.

I just plug my controller into my xbox360 and shut down the console. It makes about as much noise as my watch when its shut down.
