Web Hosting / Domains

[Davros]

got a domain and web hosting for someone
also did them a web site and uploaded it

so imagine I've got davros.co.uk (i'm using made up links)
and a website consisting of
index.htm (the home page)
page1.htm, page2.htm ect

so i expected to get to my website by typing
www.davros.co.uk
but I get this

to access my web site I have to type
http://davros.co.uk//index.htm

What am i doing wrong ?

Perhaps it's not propagated yet.
Also use HTML not htm. Htm was only used cause back in the old days of windows with 3 letter extensions limit

Yes should be using .html but any standard webhosting setup should work with index.htm, index.html, index.aspx, index.php etc.
