The Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt ! [XO, PS4, NX, PS5, XBSX|S, PC]

The player is eating a variety of food that gives vitality regeneration for short periods. The food items are on the bottom left corner of the HUD.
Ah, thanks muchly!

Am a way into The Last Wish book and can imagine Geralt battling monsters using a sword held in one hand while casually biting into an apple held in the other :)

Took a while, but I managed to download the video... Emma Stone is a strong scorpio like me. :)

Both IGN (9.3) and GameTrailers (9.8) reviewer's comment that the pre-release PS4 version has performance issues in places. GameTrailers do mention the developers are working on fixes to go into place before release. None of the leaked footage has shown this but GameTrailers mention it's more pronounced in certain areas (like the bogs) so I guess this is further into the game.

10s and 9.75s everywhere I see......its like Bloodborne all over again  !

I checked a few sites and I am seeing 9.5 and 9.6 on average too.

The only downside is that the game could have framerate performance problems on consoles from what I read, in certain fights and while the camera rotates. Hopefully dynamic resolution helps with that.

There are fair few 80% review equivalents like the Official PlayStation Magazine, GamesRadar+ (EDGE/C&VG) and Destructoid. The PS4 version is charting at 92 on Metacritic though.

.... I'm really glad and happy W3 is amazing, if I don't hold strong onto my values of clearing backlog before buying another game, i would have this game pre-ordered already; except the burning question of where are the Xbox One reviews? I'm not diving in until I know how performance is.

That's very odd that only the PS4 version was sent out for reviews, considering the marketing deal and all.
People at GAF are saying that the PS4 version that was sent out was only meant to run on debug units and that there's a day 1 patch that improves the performance on all platforms.

Only thing left now to do is kill few dozen of hours and I will play W3 myself!

Good thing for me is that I'm so busy with work that killing extra week should be very easy!

BTW some of the monsters shown in Gamespot.com review are jaw dropping!

Checked out some reviews myself, and it really looks like the game has lived up to all expectations. Congrats to CDPR!

I'm seeing pretty mixed reviews, mainly complaining about poor frame rate (PS4) and stating that it is not actually a true open world game like the marketing claimed. Sounds like it will be a lot more like DA:O than Skyrim?

I've checked out Kotaku, Eurogamer, Gamespot, Gametrailers and the Verge so far and they were all positive; and haven't even hinted at it not being a proper open world game, in fact they've all praised this aspect of the game.

What review is that? That's the first I've read of this.

I'm seeing pretty mixed reviews,

Since when 92 on Metacritic is considered mixed? Game has its flaws but all the reviews are very positive.
Also I think Kotaku has the most comprehensive and detailed review among others. The one worth reading to form an opinion about the game
