That happens to me as well! So you are not crazy!
A couple of years ago I a survey on my website and it came up that like 2-4% of the people who voted suffered from this!

So yeah, the Sun Sneezers do exist!

Btw I found a detailed answer here.
Why do we sneeze when we look at the sun?

If you carefully pay attention to your body signals when “taking a leakâ€￾, you will notice a blood pressure “rushâ€￾ and a momentary flushing or euphoria shortly after relaxing the urethral sphincter. This feeling is not altogether bad, but not altogether pleasant either. It might be compared to the feeling one gets when receiving highly emotional news (good or bad). This response is also ANS controlled and in its most extreme forms leads to fainting.

AHA! So that's why I woke up on the bathroom floor last night, covered in piss.

i've heard it called the "piss shivers". happens from time to time. dunno why. it related to heat released from body in urine? shivering is an involuntary reflex to generate heat when you're cold i hear.

Noone seen "Sixth sense" ? The shivers come from dead people kicking your back, thats the proof bad humor aint dieing with the body.

  woah.... that totally changes everything!!!! i'm not crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, me too actually. Which is why I wear sunglasses at the slightest hint of light - it has absolutely nothing to do with my being a programmer and being scared of the outside world.

It's because of the sneezing. Yes.

Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

You are of the 5-25% who "suffer"(if you can use that term) from Autosomal Dominant Compelling Helioophthalmic Outburst Syndrome(achoo syndrome(!), just how you go about mangling it into that acronym I have no idea, but that is the acronym for it anyway).

This "disorder" is genetic and makes you sneeze when suddenly exposed to bright light(photic sneeze reflex).

Some people cough when they use one of those pins with cotton wads on each end to get wax out of their ears as they push against a nerve. Some people have had enough wax build up to trigger that same reaction causing chronic coughing until it was fixed.

Well those HDR displays don't have almost infinite contrast (well, in their PR specs anyway) ratio because they're particularly bright. It's because their blacks are completely black (again, according to PR). The highest brightness will surely be higher than today's LCDs, but not by much, cause they don't really need to be. They need to solve LCD's problem with blacks, cause the brightness on LCD is kinda fine.

So yeah, i also cough sometimes when using earbuds things... I'm finding out lots of genetic defects i have!! Kinda scary!! :devilish:
