The Club

Bizarre Creations has released some screenshots of their Sega published game The Club. I'm not going to comment much because this game is obviously not being released any time soon. I really like the colour and think they can make a really nice looking game with a lot of texture and shader work.

The character models make me think we might have a good chance of seeing this on the Wii.

I was/is rather unimpressed with some of the shots. Anymore, when someone releases a shot with no shadowcasting light, it looks like crap. The Club shots go back and forth between that. Some models look good. Some look Xbox-level.

The gameplay sounds really fun, though. I'm glad that they're taking the regular shooter in a new direction. Going through more arcade-like, getting combos sounds like a fun break from run-n-gun and the stop-n-pop. Too many shooters get caught up in requiring gameplay and graphics to both be either realistic or arcadey.
