It's Metal Gear for me too. I'm not so sure about the weepping part!
Although, now that you mention it, I DO weep for anyone that thinks that a Tom Clancy game is anything more than a poor excuse for some (most of the time) good gameplay...
I hate Clancy with a passion... I hate Splinter Cell equally...

Strangely enough, i've never been able to really get into any of the SC games until Double Agent..

I bought all three of the first ones and only managed to get half way through the first one before getting bored and turning my attention to Otogi instead..
