Spent 4 hours reading a book; Kind of book review

OpenGL Shading language 2nd edition.

Even though I know very well how to work with shaders, this book pretty much shows some bloody well thought out ideas.
For one thing I didn't realise how many inefficiencies there are in my code(shader and non-shader) in general until I've read this book.
It has a section on image processing.
The book also shows you graphs of functions and deals with how you would go about using the weird mathematical functions such as fract, step, etc... in ways I didn't think of.
Even if you know your way around shaders, this book gives you some pretty damn good ideas.

This book was a Christmas present from my mum.
I'm happy. :D
Never thought I'd ever be this happy over a book.
