space invaders psp forcing you to upgrade to v1.5

somebody bought aparently space invaders and wants to play on his v1.0 psp .
an error message apeared like
"please update your firmware to v1.5 to continue "

looks like homebrewers will need a spare psp to play regular games if running unsigned code on v1.5++ firmware doesnt get cracked

Is the firmware available on the game disc?
