I by myself said me that this is a great idiotice, in the last days when I listened to some commentaries about of those rumors of "old friend in return" and "an enemy that becomes a friend". Nor I believe that I am posting this here, but all right. My great doubt now is based on the COUNTING Of SONY OFFICIAL WEBSITE FOR E3: e3.playstation.com. The countdown does not coincide with the Pre-E3 conference of Sony or with the beginning of the E3 for the public, but with the Pre-E3 conference of NINTENDO. You can go there in the site and confer. Then you come back here and say what you think about it. I have to say that til for me, who is creating the topic, it seems a great bullshit, madness, thing of another world, but this idea was the only thing that came in my mind. Obs: remember that nothing was shown or spoken about the PS3, nothing but the basic information of hardware (who will go to make what). In the last days posters and billboards are spread in the outskirts of Los Angeles indicating a change and using symbols of the control. Nintendo affirmed that Its great revolution for the next generation would be the control. What it will be? Coincidence? I hope so. OR....

Welcome to the forums osvaldomartins.

Sony and Nintendo probably are not working together Nintendo has agreements with ATi, Sony with nVidia. Nintendo is going with DVD, Sony most likely BR. Nintendo is making as much money as Sony... so at this point there is no reason to work together.

If Nintendo or Sony would share anything it would be some unified controller interface. It makes sense also for third party adoption... IMHO.

In addition to my above post...it would also make sense in cross-licensing controller tech, and more specifically, 'rumble features' with recent litigation involving Immersion and Sony...
