Sillent Hill 2 + more..

I got the game a week or so for the ps2 and í´m at the room in basement/you know after the elevator stuff..
You come to this room where there´s a cube´stone artifact head that you can change the position of. Can someone that knows what i´m talking about just say what to do there or not to go on in the #wierd# room!

+ more means i have an unpacked splinter cell that been lying as long as i bought it/same time app and really fell #got damn i want to play that now but not till i finished the other#..
 
What you have to do is to experient turning that cube. There is really no speciffic rule, just try every side untill the door to the next room opens.

In the middle of this room is an odd cube with faces on every side of it. Each face has a different eye color. This cube controls the rotation of the next room, meaning whichever way the cube is rotated, that's the way the room will go. You have to rotate the cube until you have an open door to the next room. The solution is random as to what head with the colored eyes needs to be facing you, so you'll just have to keep guessing until you get it right.
 
Is it different for every game or is it a order of the green eyes front/blue eyes left...
Can you say how i do it please!!!! ;)
 
Well, I think there are six different possibilities, so it shouldn't be difficult to try them all. I really just lucked out on that one.
 
actually there are far more than 6 possibilities...

i played through the game quite a long time ago so i'm sure i'm getting something wrong here, but the thing is, u have to get the right face and turn it around the right way... i mean there are the 6 possibilities which is just the different sides, but for each side you have other possibilities because you can turn the faces upside down (u know what i mean?)

so its all about getting the right side and turn it the right way around..... shame i cant remember which one it is... i took me ages to find out... everytime i played through the game (3 times i think) ...

it wouldnt be a *riddle* if it only had 6 possibilities now would it!! :LOL: :LOL:
 
Ok, I haven´t played the sequence more than two times since i wanted to be sure that i was on the right track.
I vill try it out tonight and instantly when i solve it write it here! :D
 
Ok maybe i understand some of the things you have said wrong because i don´t explained exactly what i´ve done in the room.
I dont have a problem getting in the "weird" room but when you are in the "weird" room you vill have to go back to the cube and then trix with the headcube so you open some door in the "weird" room..

Do you know what i mean or did you know all the time :LOL:
 
First in the headcuberoom you turn the head to open the door too the weirdroom, as i understand the cube controlls the openig to a NEW door IN the weird room. :?
 
I may be wrong, but as I remember it the cube represents the "inside" of the room in front of you. Turn the cube, and you turn the room. The idea is to turn the room so that the doorways fit where they are supposed to, so you can walk through!
 
It´s logical.
Just some of the sides will open the door, then you just use the combinations of that and see whits leave you right. :)
