Rumour: Next Bungie game, MMOFPS

The ex-Bungie employee says that Destiny, codenamed "Tiger," will run on a new Bungie-developed graphics engine and feature unique online connectivity and matchmaking technology. It was also bluntly likened to "WoW in space."

Interesting, I wondered if they were working on a MMO type game since they signed a 10 year contract with Activision.

Always thought someone should make a FPS-MMO, so I hope they pull this off.

Not the least surprising. Everybody expected this, sans the title.

I've maintained this whole generation though, that if anybody manages a "wow on consoles" type game, it will do business beyond people's wildest dreams. COD probably got there in a way already, but maybe this can be it after all this time.

If they add portable gaming to the mix, the far east MMO gamers may eat it up.

EDIT: With advanced matchmaking ? Will they add RPG elements to match more criteria ?
