Revolution specs leaked?

LoL, Someone just made a random prediction on Gaming-AGe with these Specs, and now someone has picked them up. These SPECS ARE FAKE.

Iwata said the Rev would make us go "Wow".

Those specs make me go, "Wow... that sucks!!" ;)

Doubt they are real at all.... unless Nintendo is aiming for a totally new strategy: the $50 consoles  They could easily fit something like that into a handheld within 4 years also.

Btw, I doubt 480p as max because they already said it would work on PC monitors. Looks very fake.

Well, if the Rev. case is going to be even smaller, it doesn't seem like ATI and IBM would be able to pull off something with the likes of 360 or PS3 power.

They could considuring it will have been in research for YEARS longer than PS3 and Xbox360. THESE ARE ALSO COMFIRMED FAKES. SOMEONE AT GAMING-AGE MADE THEM UP.

It could have at least a dual core CPU and 256mb or GDDR3 RAM

I kinda like the neat and compact Revolution though.Nintendo is the only practical thinking company out of the three companies that didn't go crazy over the spec wars. They are indeed heading the right way.Looking at the latest Zelda I would say it's more than enough for me for the sweet graphics and coupled that with a great online service I'll definitely pick one up when it launches.

Could be true considering the size of the unit, those are more realistic than the other leaked specs. Nintendo have already admitted they might not have the same power as the competition.

Considering the size of the unit... these specifications seem plausible, outside of the Hard Drive as that would be too big to fit inside the form factor of the N5 (Which is right now roughly the size of 3 DVD cases stacked on each other). It was previously stated they was wanting to go with 512MB of embedded Flash RAM which would fit inside that small package, but 512MB of Flash RAM is quite expensive and I would suggest dropping that and just support SD Cards for the purpose.

This is in line with what I am expecting based on what I have heard from Nintendo, and looking at these specifications this would indeed place the N5 roughly 3 times more powerful than the current GC system.

Can't say I am happy about these specs...

How could they be true considering they are confirmed fakes???

 The GCN is small, but it faired well. I am not expecting a powerhouse, but come one now... these are fake no point trolling the issue until we know more.

Based on What nintendo say, I expect them to be up to par with XBox360. These are also COMFIRMED FAKE, they are from GA Forum.

Don't expect anything anywhere near as powerful as the XBox360/PS3 in such a small form factor, and there are reasons for this logic. First off you have VERY limited real estate available for hardware components, secondly heat issues, they don't want to lose money on each machine, and they want to keep the machine cheap for the consumer ($199 at launch). The smaller the device the less powerful the device will be... it is simple logic as that. Of course Nintendo COULD always try making something as large as the XBox/PS3...

Your LOGIC is flawed. Greatly Flawed. With greater development time comes greater advancement in technology. With the extra development time of Revolution which is measured in YEARS it could easily be as powerfull as Xbox360 in a smaller box. The idea that Nintendo won't lose money on each machine is myth they do and will. They even said this time they will dip into their 8 billion in cash.

Have you guys downloaded the latest Zelda:Twillight Princess trailer from
Gamespot?
Wow I am watching it as I type now.It puts all those tech demos you saw for the Xbox 360 and PS3 to shame.Woot!

At least in temrs of storyline and playability.

I'm only fairly certain of one thing about Rev, that it has multiple core/threads on its CPU...

This comes from the fact that I've heard a rumour Ninty have licensed the best multi-processor C compiler (XLCPP).

This brings back hopes
