If you could patent the "look and feel" of promotional materials Nintendo would be headed to court shortly. Everything from the color scheme, to the font, to the faux "straight talking" attitude is so blatantly ripped straight out of the Apple playbook that it's almost creepy. I half expected to see the new iPod at the end of their Flash animation.

Oh, and side-note for any GAF regulars here - I think this is the first time I've seen the board go down in a long long time. It weathered GDC so well..I fear for E3.

GAF isn't really down, it's just slow... but if all it takes is Rev's name to bring the forums to it's knees, then I imagine my E3 source won't be GAF.

I'm not sure I would define 15 minute intervals between clicking on a thread and it opening as "well"

Wee means small in Scottish.

Oui in French for yes. Even worse.

Though they'll get lots of free advertising on the name in any interview or asking children questions at school.

the name is stupid. but i guess it's somehow related to 'V' which represent this as nintendo's fifth console. anyway, the main concern is why nintendo announce the name so early? They get lots of secrets/materials to present later? seems interesting to me.
