They will use UE3 for PS3 and XB360, will they use it on Rev too? That is pretty good news about the power of Rev, if true?

I may be very happy :D .

If it is UE3, you just know its going to be a horribly bastardised version of it. Or testament to the incredible scalability of the engine....

You need to explain yourself. How would it be a "bastardised" version of it, when we don't even know the specs of the console?

Thats an ad for job it doesn't mean that something is in work for all the console. Its common to include similar job expectations when looking for candidates.

I don't think we need to play this "we have no idea, Revolution could be powerful/it'll look the same in SD" game. Revolution is underpowered compared to => medium-high-end PCs and next-generation consoles, all evidence points to this. That is what UE3 is designed for.

You only need look at the features it supports and the known games utilizing it.

Well, there's Robo Hordes, which, aside from locking out non-Intel CPUs, doesn't have the heaviest system requirements. The engine is pretty scaleable and versatile. I'm sure it can look as "bad" as UE2.

Honestly I don't think they're refering to UE3, maybe a different iteration (maybe a souped up 2?). But saying that if it's UE3 it'll be a "bastardised" version is reaching a bit. We have no idea of the Revs capabilities just rumors and sepculation. And the engine just might look as good in SD as it does in HD. This is roughly what Gears of War would look like in SD:

Is that not impressive to you?
