Hmm, i have 34 clients at the moment though.

You didn't use "blank" as user and pwd did you ?

Oh, and i just increased the number of clients to 70. I thought there would be problems but it seems to work fine (had 40 before).

Try the Windows command-line FTP client, works OK.

To answer my own query earlier -- looking at the 3DMark screenshot more closely it looks like it was achieved on a 3.4GHz Pentium4, and a "<something> 6800". Oo-err.
