Can you list some of the DX9 capabilities, such as maximum shader lengths? You can get them straight from the DX9 SDK, in the DirectX Caps Viewer.

Thx. This shows, that the ATIX_il_fshader extension isn't enabled in the drivers for thr radeon 9800 so far.

Could anyone who already downloaded the 9.0 SDK attach the DXCapsViewer.exe?

You can get a copy of the CAPS viewer from here:

http://freespace.virgin.net/neeyik.uk/DX9CapsViewer.zip

Obviously you will need to have DX9 installed in order for it to work.
