quick Radeon9700 question

this may have been asked and answered before, but I can't seem to find it:

How big is the actual board? Like, the Geforce4 Ti board is definitely a large board, and the Voodoo5 is a monster, but how tall/wide is the Radeon9700?

It isn't a large board at all... no bigger than the Radeon 8500.

The PCB is roughly 4" tall by 7" deep...

Mine is _exactly_ the same size as my R8500 and R7500.

Same size, but much heavier! Also be careful not to break off the heatspreader on the back of the card. It's happened to a few (including me).

As I mentioned in the review, this has happened to me (although mine appeared to be incorrectly placed). However, it has run fine without it since.

I put mine back on with some epoxy, just to be safe. But an ATI guy told me it should work fine without it, cause it was a last minute change to appease OEM's.
