PSP homebrew news

Couple of interesting things I didn't see mentioned elsewhere on the boards yet.

First, a new libtiff exploit allows unsigned code to be run on 2.80 firmware! All good! This should allow downgraders etc to be implemented. More info and download link at www.psp-spot.com.

Second, I'm not sure if this is a fake or the site's been hax0red or something, but if you go to psp.connect.com you'll see a pspupdates.com banner in the right column. This is interesting because pspupdates.com has a bunch of homebrew stuff. Maybe a sign of things to come? Personally I doubt it, but I'm keeping my hopes up that Sony gets its act together :)

darn good news!

i knew some guys were putting in effort into that but the prospects were not quite clear. ok, time to reconsider upgrading..

i'v read that too, but they released a final downgrader with the bugs worked out (that caused the problems)

btw, try Ghost and goblins , its fantastic if you love platform games
