Probably, but also this a game at 4K which is notoriously hard to run on the GPU. Back in the day it was a killer. The absolute minimum amount of effort was put into this.
This looks terrible with obvious TAA blur.without film grain
So maybe the 4k/40fps mode still uses TAA ?This looks terrible with obvious TAA blur.
This one looks much better with no TAA blur like all games using PSSR showed until now.
Cash grabs are a wonderful thing. You have shiny new toy, we have the means to showcase it.I find it rather shite that the devs of Callisto never integrated DLSS on PC (FSR 2 looks awful in this title) and yet they come out with a PS5Pro update about 2 years later. Priorities...
Rather clear with this one that this was AMD blocking NVIDIA's DLSS. I hate those kinds of practices, especially from AMD who simply lock out users from a much better software. I also dislike when NVIDIA does it, but most of us don't care about FSR when we have DLSS. However, it sucks for AMD users and owners of older NVIDIA cards.I find it rather shite that the devs of Callisto never integrated DLSS on PC (FSR 2 looks awful in this title) and yet they come out with a PS5Pro update about 2 years later. Yeah at the same time NVIDIA is blocking DLSS fron existing on non-NVIDIA hardware. Patents are garbage. I would say that NVIDIA's block of DLSS on other hardware has caused some retaliation from AMD with them making deals that block DLSS usage in games. Which sucks too.Rather clear with this one that this was AMD blocking NVIDIA's DLSS. I hate those kinds of practices, especially from AMD who simply lock out users from a much better software. Yea, it's not clear what arrangements were made with Playstation but, the game was at one point given out on PS Plus. Personally speaking, if I were managing the studio behind this game, I wouldn't waste time implementing DLSS on PC when the financial return will be terrible. The game had a peak of 17k and tbf, the game isn't very good. There's no catalyst on PC that would lead to new sales. On playstation, there is so it's not surprising.I find it rather shite that the devs of Callisto never integrated DLSS on PC (FSR 2 looks awful in this title) and yet they come out with a PS5Pro update about 2 years later. Even without the higher PC settings and hardware AA/Nvidia features? It has been a while so you may be right.Probably, but also this a game at 4K which is notoriously hard to run on the GPU. Back in the day it was a killer.
