Just watched the video(7/21/05), very nice! Most definitely realtime....wonder what frame rate they are getting? Hopefully they will try for 60fps!

Looks like 100,000+ polys on the Gundam, cities look great, not sure about the lack of textures? would like to see a night shot.

But I really want to see the physics engine in action....1 more month.

Yea. They were.
I just found this picture, I decided to post because the IGN videos were very low quality and discolored. This pictures shows just how good the playable version really looked.

Oh okay cool. You're right IGN's color is horrible. I think all they need to do is get a bigger framerate (hopefully 60 fps), better textures, and super high physics and I will buy this game. And I've never brought a mech game in my life.
