Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney: The Story is CHANGED

Just finished Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney and... i though my memories playing tricks on me. I though the story was a bit different and there are some scene that i should experience but there was none.

then a few minutes ago i watch again the trailer before Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney.

lots got changed.
- the witch court
- the view to burning villege
- the story of accusing the yellow-haired woman
- the teamwork between Maya and Luke
- the story in witch's wood.
- the storyteller is different (the main bad-guy)

but googling, seems nobody cares. this is a story-driven game and nobody cares lol.

On what platform and how has it changed? That is, has it changed in migrating to a platform or was it patched (??) to change it??

It is on 3DS
the change is between pre-release trailers and released game.

usually case like this make the internet cries (i think it was Mafia 2 and Bioshock Infinite to some extend?)
