What a pile of steaming excrement!

What the writer obviously means is that people should answer with what he personally thinks the interviewer wants to hear.

"Why should I hire you?"

"Because I'm the best". Duh.

Who the fuck expects to get THE BEST at any one position they're hiring for, what company exactly are we hiring for here anyway; World-Leaders-In-Everything-R-Us?

In the real world companies hire and they generally get Joe Schmoe. Not "the best". Because the world is mostly made up of Joe Schmoes and Joe Schmoe is all most jobs call for anyway. Any job that ACTUALLY calls for "the best"..well..let's just say those people generally don't need to read "ten tough interview questions"-type articles in order to pass. Their qualifications will speak for themselves.
