"High quality"? As in "audiophile"? You can get Sennheiser HD280's with a boom mic.
On a more reasonable budget, I've been happy with the Sennheiser PC150's for gaming. The cups are covered in velvet, so don't get nasty after extended sessions. I found they fit better than the Plantronics .90 as they had a bit more flexibility where it counted.
