OPP dethroned

In other words, how can you gain speed in a direct3d application. Besides the 'optimalisations' by nV.( by editing the drivers, thats what i think ).

Oh goodness.

If you want to see how to cheat and get an obscure score try this:

Just force AA and AF at min levels in the CP and knock it up in 3dmark03.

Err.. I am a tad confused. You mean that you set min AA and min AF in your disp props and then in 3DMark03 set them to max, and your score is still based on the min levels though 3DMark shows it is max? :?

*edit: Ok.. It seems to be the case. The reason is that the drivers AF & AA override the DX AA & AF calls, and there's not much we (or any other DX benchmark for that matter?) can do about it. It's also one reason why AA & AF can't really be used in the default run. The default setting is the only one we use in toplists etc..

I see no reason why not, all you'd have to do would be to change optimisations to detect the shaders in the 330 patch.
