Six months from now NVIDIA will release a refresh of its GeForce 4 line. The Ti series will get a speed boost to around 350 MHz as well as feature higher clocked memories. The overall architecture will get polished a bit, but no major changes will be seen.

...

Next year will be a very different proposition for NVIDIA. We will finally see a product that is a fusion of NVIDIA and 3dfx/GigaPixel technology, and the combination will be very impressive

So no NV30 this year? Any comments?

interesting...
lets hope ATI has the r300 out this year
(but this site says both are Spring/2003)

I am pretty sure NVIDIA will release something when DirectX9 comes. Before that any major card difference is pointless.

Absolutly, like they had NOTHING when DX8 came out.

The original GF3 chip went through quite a few respins, otherwise there probably wouldn't have been a GF2 Ultra. And while, yes, DX8 had been finished months before the GF3 hit the market, Nvidia was still the first IHV with compliant hardware.
