No I dont think Arnie is corrupt. Not at this time anyway. This is about public trust. The circumstances call for coming out into the open about this meeting and its timing (a month after Bustamante took enron and its buddies on).
The question about the possiblity of recouping 9 billion is important tho and it all depends what arnie does at this point. And if he does sign sweetheart deals that undercuts Bustamantes lawsuit then we'll have even more reason to suspect some cronyism is about.
I would like to know more about Bustamantes lawsuit tho and see from objective sources what are the odds of his winning back the 9 billion $ for California. Itd be great if Arnie supported the lawsuit at this point and would go a long way to help Arnie get business done in Sacramento.
