Nvidia patent explaining ROP double-Z

I see Gary Tarolli on that list of inventors. Probably means it should really have been called the "double-T Technique"

Nice find and thanks for sharing. This should do wonders offsetting the gallons of coffee I have consumed.

considering ATI has double-Z on X1600, X1700 and R580 (not sure for that one), do they need to license it from Nvidia?

The patent is on a specific implementation, not the results of the implementation.
