Edit: reading in detail, article says based on rumors, clocks must be higher to get to the 6.5TFLOP (it's just copied from the GM204) After sending them a note they now changed cores in 1920 and boost 1.6GHz, so they don't have a clue.

Translating this into numbers, at 4K we’re looking at 30% performance gain versus the GTX 980 and a 70% performance gain over the GTX 980

Not really strange they are just waiting to see what AMD has to offer then they will set the clocks.

Very interesting. Also talking about HDR as far as it seens the Gforce wont be able to run HDR video content(there is no mention about it) which is a disappointment.

From the HardOCP review:
