I think those are stacked DVI's.

I'd take it with a grain of salt. Looks promising, but we'll see. That was interesting. Seems steadily faster than the GTX 465 bar a couple of tests. The idle power consumption is very promising as well. I mean the system idle power was lower than the system with the 5830 and we know that the 5830 is 25W at idle, so the GTX 460 is <25W!

HD5850 isn't included in this test.
yes, i think is an excellent vga by power/performance, not only compared with 5830 -the direct competitor- but also compared with 5850 and obviously gtx465 -that the vga most useless I have ever seen

I replied to xDxD's post. It's hardly possible to compare GTX460 to HD5850 using a review, which doesn't contain results of HD5800... :smile:Why would it be?

Power consumption is funny though: 460 and 5830 are close, rather than the 5850 par you'd expect.
I'd expected a slightly stronger showing too from the 465 though.
It was due to running test at 1920 with 8msaa on card with 768mb ramAlso that test negates the lower performance in UniEngine we had seen on Gigabyte PR. The 1024MB/256 bit version is on par with GTX465. Nice!
So each dispatcher will be able to dispatch 8 threads , to a sub block of 12 SPs ? that is inefficient !Check page #2 It has 2 schedulers and 4 dispatchers (2 per scheduler).
