HEVC B frame support is huge for compression, providing a significant performance increase but only if the software doing the encoding supports it. I'm sure you could Google some encoding tests. I know Gamers Nexus did a lot.

The link below is benchmarking video editing performance differences between pcie-3 vs pcie-4. They only test the GTX 2060 super and RX 5700XT but should give you an idea.
