No, the 'dancing pixels' you describe. Its not from an 'overclocking' type issue.

Don't tease so much, Dave! We already know you guys might something cooking about IQ on certain drivers, so...? ;)

There are three or four people I've seen teasing about the IQ of these drivers, I wish somebody would get on with it and spill the beans....

The Dig sits impatiently on the edge of his seat next to Hanners

Yeah, c'mon and someone help out us little brains and explain it in small words with pictures with arrows on 'em!!!! ;)

I've been starting to notice that me ownself...it's kind of creepy. ;)

Me likey-likes the post-in-post-in-post-in-post-in-post-in-post look on this site, it reminds me of the scene from the original "Planet of the Apes" where they try and explain infinity with the picture in the picture. :)

Actually, that makes me think of a very cool demo! You could have two mirrors facing one another and an infinite regression of images. I guess you would need realtime raytracing for this to work?

I just noticed that the same problem is evident in Shadermark 1.7
another one of the tests that had an extreme boost by DetFX

when is someone gonna spill the beans here???

I get an odd feeling we'll see another Quack story here, only that this time it's ATi who have sent word or tools to highlight cheats in nVidias drivers.

I forget. Am I supposed to be outraged at the company leaking damaging info on another company or not?

Just as long as nobody is pointing a finger and specifically call it cheating without letting the accused company try to fix it without loosing any performance at all.... ;)

As if any of us here would ever indulge in baseless accusations and finger-pointing.... ;)

What would it look like if you tried to use fx12 limited functionality units for vertex processing, so you could use fp32 limited functionality units for fragment processing, if such a thing was possible?
