Sometimes you've got to think that for the purposes of writing on boards like these, that there were standards within the language to express things such as sarcasm or joking. I know that Japanese has some similar things, which, while totally off-topic, was one rather interesting that that I found out studying Japanese last year. It seems that many more facts/events and such are implied in Japanese, while other things like emotions are explicitly stated more than they are in English (ex. confidence). Of course, after only a year of study, I've only scratched the surface of the language, so I really don't know much

I take it you don't actually talk to people all that much. I mean, apparently, "how" you say something has no bearing on the meaning of what's conveyed?
Methinks you take this stuff a bit too seriously. In any case, I can't think of too many different ways to interpret the following, so we might be safe here:
