Such clauses aren't legally enforceable (or even allowed) everywhere. For example, a person has to be allowed to make a living for himself, if your skillset is sufficiently narrow it would be devastating for you if you were unable to practise your trade.
 
Just some talk on gaf about a "BigFest" project. May or may not be related to MM's recent R & D work which was gleaned from job postings I think.

Oh noes. I can't possibly live on my 200-400k USD a year salary, what am I to do? I'm so devastated. :p I'm pretty sure the people that actually would be devastated financially with a non-compete clause wouldn't actually be in a position to need a non-compete clause.

I would be fine with this. Home PS3 looks like a child predator's wet dream.


It needs a lot more stylizing and interconnectivity a la WiiU if it wants to attract a larger and more engaged and diverse userbase.


Right now it seems like Home only appeals to a very, very small subset of people.
 
Hmph, I wonder why. Probably something else ? Like HMZ-T3 or PS3 stuff (add-on, PS3++, Gaikai, whatever). Something I can use soon or right away ?

Or something that can be done/copied by others quickly ?

I don't understand why they have to reveal to us in such a hurry.

I doubt it's much on PS4 if at all.

I think PS4 could hit in september with GTAV superior port. Sony and MS must be offering Rockstar some money to do this
 
Maybe rockstar has told us when next gen really begins.

Would be good if gta v was a launch game for both systems. Always thought gta v looked too good for this gen.

So still very much case by case basis then. Thought it was all the same for developers and more so for people closer to the hardware.

... and no leak so far ? I am skeptical.

I hope not. Not a GTA fan. Unless... perhaps it's done in full VR + proper 3D with stunning art direction. Or they put that Last Guardian catbird in the town center.

No if your not a significant executive it's unlikely you'll have one, there has to be something pretty good on the other end of the deal to balance out possible loss of income, guaranteeing the contract is the only example I've seen.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but the colored and curved "lightnings" are screaming "Xperia" all over the place. It's just like the wallpapers and boot animations from Sony's Xperia smartphones and tablets.
Playstation Xperia? Playstation X? Playsperia? X-Station? XperiaStation?
It suggests lots of interactivity and service integration between PS4 and Xperia devices?

This would fit into the "One Sony" strategy, where the company seems to make the Xperia devices into the central piece of Sony's ecossystem:

That's funny then. I had to sign them all the time when I was doing IT related work, and nothing hotshot at all.
