New Sony PS2 game: Rule of Rose

It's like the "Exorcist", only without the rotating heads, pea soup and demonically deformed characters. It also had sexual overtones but I don't think anybody considers it as paedophilic material.
"Rule of Rose" has basically similar theme.
Disturbing, surely, but I don't think this game is morally any more dubious than for example shooting demon cherubs in some other games.

How do you know that? It may come out in EU or the states. We don't know. Did a developer say it won't come out outside of Japan?

Have you actually seen The Exorcist? The possessed girl continuously says things that would put a drunken sailor to shame, she uses a certain religious object to pleasure herself, and she forces her mother to pleasure herself as well.

That was the first thing I thought of... didn't seem all that crazy to me. It didn't even occur to me that it could be taken some twisted sexual way until it was brought up here

It is a curtsey, but seems to go a bit far, plus the girl has a creepy smile and it fits the theme of the game.

That, and I seem to recall some old horror movie where the young girl does lift her skirt all the way to give a little show. I forget the name though.
