new Holy Shit Kameo looks so good screens

Wow...the game reminds of Mario 64 in a way. The feeling of wanting to explore the enviroments. It has a different look than Mario 64, but it still has that old style 2d sense of color and design.

just keeps getting better and better.

I'm officially satsified with those graphics, they are awesome. If the gameplay is on the level of a Zelda game, then it's gonna be one hell of a game.

It's looking better. Hopefully they can up it one more notch before release. Otherwise I wouldn't mind if they pushed it back a bit, although this looks pretty good.

never played that.

The coolest thing about the kameo screens, is there's like 100 things going on in each one, and you can just tell that, when everything is set into motion, it must look really really really good.

I don't think you can free-frame this type of game, and really get a feel for how cool everything looks and feels.

Pics are do sharp and candy-like, but I want the blue monster.
This proves that ATI unified shader logic is the way to go.

Wierd sentence branching. :???: (I dont understand how you came to the conclusion)

I like the screenshots. Hopefully Rare can come up with same or better work on their 'other project'.

This looks pretty good and 100% better then what we saw in May. I wish MS wouldn't have rushed things so that these would have been the first shots were seeing. We could have avoided the xbox1.5 meltdowns.

I love the fur on that one beast.

This shots look nice.

I don't think there's anyting you can do to stop the xbox 1.5 comments. It's something ******s will cling to and use no matter what xbox 360 games look like.

That really was a masterful PR stroke that wasnt helped any by what MS showed off immediately afterward. It was the start of damage control for MS fans and a genuine tagline for the Pro-Sony set.

These pictures look miles better than before but they still seem "dark and heavy" to me I cant really explain what I mean well though. Maybe the lesson we can learn from this round of console platforming is when in doubt show a CG trailer or show nothing at all. We know WAAAAAAY too much about the development and progress of every game for 360.

Everyone went "OoooKaaaay" to "Yeah thats better" to "Now THATs next gen!"

With PS3 we are all in the dark while devs tool away... and when we do first see a game (like in the case of MGS4) We are like "wow! that sure is next gen ... I'm sure it'll get even better!"

Sonys's PR is miles ahead of MS' I'm afraid.

Kameo looks pretty good. My only real complaint is that I don't really like the color palette they chose, but thats Rare!

Rare must've really slapped Kameo's engine around to get this to happen. The game looks at least 2x as good in these shots as it did at E3.

I remember hearing that the Xbox 1.5 comments originated from a reporter and Sony just picked it up.

As for Kameo I like the style. I'm game for anything trying a new style. Rare have pulled off a well balanced colour palette with good lighting and character/scenery style. The only obvious thing lacking is some shadows which I guess are coming later, unless they feel the style is better without.

The comment as far as I remember originated from Kutaragi commenting about the Xbox 360 experience. Kutaragi feels that game console need to evolve into entertainment centers, while Sony indeed is following that train of thought MS is maintaining that the 360 is a game console. As such, Kutargai felt they weren't trying to compete with the PS3, but rather the PS2 (a game console) and so he made the comment that it's more like Xbox 1.5 than 2. Everyone, of course, twists it into a graphics issue, which it wasn't though. Though, I'm sure there was some subterfuge to the comment as well, but that where it came from.

It's pretty funny because the X360 comes stock as a media centre, connect to all kinds of external devices including IPOD, PSP and PC's, also includes the abilitiy to network with a Window PC machine and do stuff like view/pause live TV, record/playback TV.

Pretty much a complete Media Centre with the exception that it doesn't stream video's with normal XP.

So...what was KK talking about? it doesn't make any sense...
