Looks incredible! This and Heavenly Sword will be mine this holiday!

Since MS is publishing this game, hopefully they'll force Silicon Knights to use predicated tiling (and thus get the "free" AA everyone is going on about).

The game uses the UE3.0 which is said not to be compatible with tiling.
That might change with time, who knows.

I have no clue if they have made UE3 be compatible with predicated tiling, but sooner or later I can't really see them not having it. I mean with all the games using that engine and with Epic even making an exclusive game for the 360 and hoppefully with all the optimizations they do for it, it would more or less be insane not to apply the most obvious optimization of them all. And although SK are using the UE3, I do believe they have the right to modify the engine as they see fit. But for sure, this is one of my most wanted questions I would like to have an answer to and I can't believe it hasn't been asked yet, as to when they plan to incorporate predicated tiling in UE3 IF they ever do it...

Seriosely, this game is the best looking game around. The combat system is said to be amazing to watch since the camera is completely dynamic (the right analog stick controls the melee attacks).

And UE3 supports 4xAA on Xenos sinse Gears of War now has 4xAA, also stranglehold i think, this and many other games have. (almost) Every game coming to the 360 is now using 4xAA, Dead rising and lost planet is, and so are the others.

the game's lighting and shadows look quite good from the pics, but character design is so boring. the guy with the sword is so UT styled it's annoying. the big green mech looks just like the rest of 1000 mechs from many other games.
