Naughty Dog's PS3 game

What are you guys impression on this? I watched the trailer in both low res and one with a slightly higher quality and have mixed feelings: From a technical point of view, it looks quite impressive, but on the other hand, I was kind of hoping for a platformer and less of a action jump 'n run title.....

I agree with that. I loved the first Jak and Daxter and I haven't seen anything next-gen with that kind of cartoon look. Realism is nice, but there doesn't seem to be much breaking the mold.

I think I'll wait to see someone playing it before forming a real opinion, scripted trailers are next to useless now. Premise seems okay.

from a tech perspective, i loved the trailer.. but i'm not so sure about the main dude in the game.. he looks like a friend of mine not THE MACHO KILL ALL DUDE you want to control in a videogame

thats the first thing i though of, if pitfall was truly made into next gen, this is what it would feel like, only less wild animals trying to kill the guy.
