Hey, one of those cards looks very familiar!
That's an amazing collection, I'm glad my Warp5 is sitting in such good company.
Hey, yea it's there!
Glad to have it here.

by late summer 2000 3dfx was being hammered with problems from multiple sources. The company's finances were in bad shape, NVIDIA slugged them with a major lawsuit, factory yields were very low
During my reading of the 3dfx history, which was very concise btw, I got to the bolded part quoted below and was reminded of something I hadn't thought of in years.
Wasn't 3dfx suing Nvidia over some earlier patent infringement? Anyone remember what was going on with that, wasn't that case decision supposed to come down right around the time 3dfx was bought out?
The rivalry between two 3D graphics giants escalates, with Nvidia claiming that 3dfx infringes on five patents related to I/O techniques.
Nvidia announced today that it has filed a lawsuit against 3dfx Interactive seeking to halt the manufacturing and sale of the Voodoo3, Voodoo4, and Voodoo5 3D graphics boards. The lawsuit names five patents said to cover technologies used in 3dfx products.
Diane Vanasse, public relations specialist for Nvidia, explained the reason for the lawsuit to GameSpot, saying "3dfx infringes on at least five patents dating back as far as NV1. All five patents are essentially I/O patents relating to efficiency of the interaction between the graphics processor and the core logic, memory, or CPU."
At the time of writing, 3dfx could not be reached for comment.
Wasn't that for a patent regarding some multi-texturing implementations in TNT?[EOCF] Tim;1291958 said:3dfx sued nVidia first,

Really cool idea for a site! I've always had this fascination with older video cards. If I had the money, I'd go out acquiring old products and benchmarking them for the helluva it
Nice collection & site, [EOCF] Tim.
I see you've got an iXMicro TwinTurbo 128. I have one with both Mac/PC BIOSes. I also have a Diamond Edge 3D 3440 (IIRC). I recall Panzer Dragoon bundled with the clunky Sega controllers. I am envious of your Geforce FX 5800 & 5900 Ultras. Surprisingly, I haven't come across any.
I'll check, but think it's the standard 128.[EOCF] Tim;1295120 said:Ah that's excellent, is that the IXMicro Twin Turbo 128P8? I'm still looking for that one!
Probably, although I thought it was 4MB soldered. Also I would really love to have the Diamond Edge 3D 3400, with the memory expansion board. Is that the one you have?
Awesome collection!
Is this really a Glaze3D on the 1999 page? It seems unfinished, without the GPU if I see this correctly. But it was not all vaporware then.
Also, I wonder what this missing PCB part is.
I think I still have my Diamond Monster3D (3Dfx Voodoo Graphics) somewhere, but that is not nearly as exotic as most pieces in your collection.
I've a Matrox M3D somewhere (PowerVR PCX 2).
A friend of mine have an old but beautifull Neon 250 (Power VR 2). i've not seen a lot of these.
