My electronics teacher in my former College has died :(

He had a heart attack.

Poor guy. He lost his wife 2 years ago and now he died.

He was one of the school's best teachers, I had the best times in his class.
We would have discussions on current technologies like water lasers and we would discuss why the hell I'm putting on 15 computer based heatsinks on my powersupply that I was making, among other things.

It looked horrific in the end but I was told that I'm lucky that the board of studies wasn't coming in to inspect my model.

Anyway I just thought I would share this loss.
Mr Guban was a great teacher.

when i was about 14 i had the ggrreeeeatest maths teacher.. well he was funny etc.. he always told us how he would ditch teaching and own a pub.....
few years later i found out that he had indeed taken early retirement and got a pub.... i-i-r-c he'd lasted about 2 yrs before dieing :-/
good old mr-marshall, he was ace

I'm sorry to hear he passed on, it sounds like he made a hell of a good impression on you and was a fine educator.

He was quite a teacher.

My maths teacher is also very good. Hell, just about all the teachers I had are very good in all my classes.

Maths, physics, electronics, english, IT...
