Does anyone know what, if any, differences are there in the way MT works on the PC and the XB360?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

It's hard to say since Carmack hasn't released any details of his work on the X360 to any interviewer.

Was this thread serious, or supposed to have been a stab at self-parody?

I think it was one of those periodic "I know John Carmack and he tells me stuff" announcements.

*shrug*
I don't have a lot of time researching certain things that are part of my hobby.

I started this thread for this reason; I didn't know if John may have said some things about MT (interview, QuakeCons, etc) wrt the different platform architectures that I may have missed and I am never sure which emails of mine John would reply. And so I asked here. And I emailed John. And he replied. What he told me answered exactly what I was after but I didn't think it was terribly important to such elite company here and therefore I didn't really feel the need to post it here.

I am very disappointed at the insults here after trying to help the site in the past, especially wrt "stuff" John told me (that I had posted here and only here) that I thought may be interesting to the folks here.

I am especially disappointed with triniboy's comment, a veteran's opinion here that I have now taken to be representative of all the other B3D veteran's opinion of me.

I'd say you got a pretty accurate picture of how you're thought of here lately, Kruno excluded of course. :)

Did ya note that in this whole thread you never posted any useful information? Just a question and a tease/brag? What are we supposed to assume your motives were Rev?

Maybe I'm wrong but I figured you could email any of those guys and get a response usually.

And their emails while not openly available, are quickly findable.

Like I said, I emailed Mark Rein (found his addy in google)a while back and he replied. I'm assuming Carmack, Sweeney etc would do the same (cant remember if I ever have).

Provided you dont bother, spam or ask stupid questions of them one assumes.

Of course, I dont have the technical chops that you guys speak of..I ask simple questions lol
