A very interesting approach!
A feature of matrox cards that I always thought was cool, is gaming on 3 monitors.
This (with some changes maybe) could actually let you do so (dualhead + second monitor output!)
It would be pretty cool as lcd's price is rock falling!

of course that will be expensive but, have you ever heard about cheap Matrox card?
