What is it with the rovers landing on Mars? Looks like an invasion, there have been 3 rovers that have landed on Mars in one month. I'd be pissed off too if someone kept dumping (broken) Aibos in my freaking courtyard!!

Technically speaking only two rovers have landed on Mars, because 1 of the 3 landers was a lander, not a rover, and hence doesn't rove. As in Rover, from the verb Rove, meaning to "Rove about".

Beagle wasn't a rover, it was a lander. Like Mars Climate Orbiter was a lander, rather than a rover.
