Madden 360 - 720p Gameplay Videos

I just watched one of them. Gameplay aspects look sharper and cleaner but nothing huge. The real difference is with the animation between plays (when you get tackled and the camera becomes more dynamic). The models look good and everything just looks upgraded. I also love how it quickly moves from the play screen to the on field and back again.
The mocap looks the same though. I'm starting to really dislike it myself. The more the visual become better and better the more you can tell that all those things are scripted. EA should really invest in some other ways to work with takles and other animations of that nature.

It think it looks awful. Not really from a technical standpoint, but the player models dont look even close to human. They look like robots or mannequins in almost every way.
If you want to see what I mean watch the end of the second video at the linebacker standing there. Their bodies look badly mishapen and way out of proportion. Also the lighting doesnt look very real either. Other than being slightly higher res I think NFL 2k5 & NFL Fever looked better from a style standpoint.

Looks Like a massive system seller to me, Madden was the #1 selling game for like 2 months this year, and I'm pretty sure Madden fans will be more than happy with this game,

I agree could be much better, but I don't think that will matter. The madenites will drool over GFX like this...
It looks sharper than current madden games but it still has the same madden style and feel. Especially in the animation and speed. Madden is a poor football game. Stinks at being 'arcady' stinks at being a simualtion. Madden hit it's zenith at madden 2003 imho. Since then ESPN has made better games with ESPN 2k5 being the best football game ever made. (but only slightly edging out tecmobowl and the original John Madden Football on the genesis)
I'm not very impressed and really have a bad feeling about football games this upcoming gen. I can't help but wonder what VV could have done with next gen hardware. It's sad football video game fans will have to settle for mediocrity for a long time. Maybe one day EA will have the balls to make a better game instead of milking the cash cow roster update.

looks much better than before and from reading several recent previews, I think I'm sold.
Lighting and time of day updated after every play, 3 times the number of animations as current gen, dynamic weather conditions, Madden is GONE from the audio replaced with an on field announcer and "homer" radio announcer.
Pre-order list along with PD0 now for sure.
