The video is under the 360 section of ign because ign doesn't have an arcade section they believe as there is a high chance for a 360 port they put vid under the 360 section.

Yuji Naka presented the afterburner/vf5 videos himself at the show and said himself they are arcade games running on lindbergh.

All E3 demo's were running on LINDBERGH aswell.

At TGS the Sonic demo was also run with A FREAKING DUAL SHOCK 2 CONTROLLER!!!!!!!!

Plus surely an 8800 doesn't exist in silicon yet for these videos to be running on. At best these vids show a 7800 in action, so how can there be visible evidence of Lindbergh>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ps3/xb360?

Yes because Sonic is not an arcade game, it's a PS3/XB360 game.

Graphically wise the only thing in Afterburner better than Sonic is the frame-rate, but on one side (LINDBERGH) we have a fairly bog-standard, yet not uber slow, PC architecture with a >6800 class GPU in features and speed against a console version runnign on not final kits and that will not release anytime soon. I expect the game to run quite fast and fluid on both Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3.

Don't forget the ram advantage.

4x the main system ram of either system.

Also the graphics are too radical for it to be 6800 class.

I believe you'll be hard pressed to get this up and running on either two systems at 60fps with all the special effects that were on display.

They'll have to be a major downgrade.

I am not forgetting it ;). You seem to be forgetting about the bandwidth advantage the consoles have over Lindbergh as well as the fact that a lot of that RAM in Lindbergh will be used to give the player near-instant loading times all the way through the game, while on consoles small loads during the game (Halo 1 style), relatively long "starting level" loads, and more emphasis on data streaming are allowed and used.

Also the graphics are too radical for it to be 6800 class.

Good that Xenos and RSX are way beyond that ;).

I would not be this pessimistic.

Learn to behave around here.

(I'm gonna make a script to put that sentence and lock threads automatically at this trend...)
