Laptop: Pentium M or Pentium 4.

Basically I have a chocie between a 2.26GHz Pentium M, or a 3.4GHz Pentium 4. My use for the notebook will be primarily gaming.

Which CPU would best suit my usage?

I would NEVER buy a P4 in a notebook. They run way too hot for mobile devices IMO. Hell I think they run too hot for desktops. A 2.26GHz P-M will give that a P4 a total run for its money too.

Well basically the question is, Dell or Alienware? I can't get a Pentium-M from Alienware and vise versa with Dell. Also, I can't get a 6800 Ultra from Dell, but I can with Alienware (limited to 6800 with Dell).

Which company would you guys recommend?

P-M, because you can actually unplug it and have a choice about whether or not you want a space heater.

Thanks for the input, guys.

How about the issue of Alienware or Dell for a notebook? Any pros/cons for either company?
