Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Kickstarted, from a Czech studio [PS4,XO]

So you both mean the droplets when they reach a surface, that cheesy kind of white sparkle, not the droplets themselves when they are falling from the sky (which I find convincing and realistic).
Yeah, the rain in flight is okay, but the splash is really not good.

N64? Oh boy. I have been messing with a HDMI N64, playing various game at the glorious 10-20 fps of N64, and yeah I wouldn't really use that for any modern comparison. :)

The animations are pretty Bethesda-y. One would think there would be amazing middleware for animations these days. At least the conversations don't have that Disney movie look.

It's the mind's eye mayne. In our minds eye, warped by time, N64 maybe looked this way! In reality of course much much worse.

I always reference my dad (couldn't care less about video games), many years after Wolfenstein, which is one of the few games ever he was probably aware of, he saw some 3D shooter (that looked 1 million times better than Wolfenstein due to the passage of time) and said ehh, looks like Wolfenstein to me. The newest Xbox One X shooter will on some level, look like Wolfenstein to him. But if you showed him actual Wolfenstein he'd see the chasm of difference.

BUT I DIGRESS
