Kickstarter ?

I wanted to help fund this PID-Controlled Espresso Machine but they simply didn't offer any simple solution for getting it for 230-240V, for which you needed to pledge $1,000. Quite a step-up from $200.

A damn shame.

Kickstarter needs to be better for Europeans, it's a missed market opportunity. I know they only give the frames in which all these DIY people are trying to peddle their wares into the consumer / enthusiast market but still.
 
just get an AC/AC transformer?
when my grand-grandmother died and when we emptied the house there was one, lying downstairs. she also had a 819i black&white TV set and a piano where you could put candles on.
