Just got a new HDTV for my consoles.

Deepblue

Regular
It's a Vizio L37. Great deal at costco, 37 inch LCD. However, I've heard nothing about this brand even though user reviews are good. Anyone have experience with these TVs and how well they work for gaming?

Congratz I hope to have a HDTV for my 360 by end of summer. I just need to find the right deal next month on a 37 inch or larger TV for less than 1250USD including extended warrenty.

$1199 plus tax at Costco.

So how does it look? Does your HD programming look great? Does the 360 look great on the TV?

HD stuff looks completely gorgeous. Costco has an HD feed through all the display sets and I felt that the Vizio L37 had a picture as good as if not better than all the other major brands, yet was about $500 cheaper.

Did Costco have a Sony and Samsung LCD TV there? And how many HDMI inputs (if any) does that TV have?

I saw a 23" samsung LCD over the weekend on sale for $549.

Deepblue, ive heard good things about the Vizio, both the LCDs and the plasmas.

Also, i trust costco explicitly. They always seem to do a good bit of diligence when deciding which products to carry. I guess they figure with their return policy they cant afford to sell anything but the best. I dont htink i've ever bought anything there that hasnt been a quality piece of merchandise.

Wow do you work for Costco? j/k

No seriously what is Costco's return policy? And did you see that Samsung LCD at Costco? And was that Samsung the all black one or the one they have demoing for the Xbox 360 games?

I dont recall which model it was but my memory wants to say 'all black'.

The costco return policy is basically 'whenever', its really ridiculous. I think they changed computers to 3 months or 6 months but everything else is VERY liberal.

I'm talking about the brick and mortar stores here, not sure what the online policy is.

Congratulations!

We just purchased a 26' inch Insignia LCD HDTV for our HP Media Center PC and so far it has been great, considering it only cost $699 CAD at BestBuy. I have been running my Xbox 360 in 1080i mode for the last couple of days and so far I couldn't be more satisfied with the picture quality.

Hope you enjoy your TV as much as I am enjoying mine.
