My CD-ROM today or yesterday (One of those days) ended up being called:
SAMQULG DTD-RMM SD-414 under Device manager.
In the BIOS it's called:
QUG(I only remember first three letters).
WTF?
Virus or has my CD-ROM died?
Other than that my PC works fine.
Did a virus check too, seems alright.
The thing is my CD-ROM doesn't read CD's at all. It says something that the CD may be in a different format or something.
EDIT:
I installed another CD-ROM drive and also tested another DVD drive after that and they both worked.
I gave my brother the wrecked one and it worked on his PC and then I taken it back into my PC and TADA, it worked and named properly.
Why?
I blew a massive layer of dust off the top of the DVD-DRIVE was that the cause of the problem
