Is SA2 using bumpmapping?

What the hell was wrong with SA2.
So you got less sonic levels. And you did have to put up with the gay tails/robotnic and rouge/knuckles levels and .... alright I get your point.

I liked Tails/Eggman's levels... :? Though I despise Knux/Rouge's... oh well. I find that people tend to like one or the other.

Though some of the features in Sonic 2 were quite nice and the game certainly was a graphical improvement over the first, bosses included.

Yes! The bosses were great =)

And what about the rail level and all the change the gravity here and there levels. It wasnt that bad compared to the first. It just didnt have speed highway and wind valley.

Did you play as Shadow? He has Radical Highway; it's more or less the same thing as Speed Highway...

Well I completely finished the game and did play radical highway. Used to compete with my lil bro on it all the time but it aint speed highway cuz there are two many distractions in it. Like the wind bits floating around.

I did like some eggman/tail levels I have to say but they got a bit too tedious towards the end.

OHHHHHH and THIS WAS Something that took a long time to get used to. It was okay after a while though. The vocals in the level music. CHEEEEEZZZYYYYY

True, but still, it's roughly equivalent.

I didn't find them too tedious, though the longer levels (Lost Colony, Eternal Engine, and Cosmic Wall) were very, very long... that was mainly to make A-Ranks harder =) And CW's did take me a few tries...

So? They've been doing that since Sonic R =) And probably would've done it sooner if they'd had the capacity to do so... (yes, I know, Sonic CD used CD and didn't have cheesy lyrics, but so what 8))

And besides, I like almost all of SA2's music ^^

The gripes over Sonic Adventure 2 compared to SA1 are really outlandish. It's a high bunch of malarchy.

Sonic Adventure 1 was a complete disgrace to the Sonic games and series in general. The adventure part was highly stupid, the story was very dull and boring, and Big the Cat was just filler material. Amy Rose should have never gone playable. The actual levels weren't that bad, but far too linear and theere wasn't enough of a selection for pure Sonic action.

SA2 is a little different, but still quite bad. I remember it being in development and the Sonic levels were supposed to have twice the amount they had, but Sonic Team Hawaii/USA wanted it to be split even. The level design is a bit better than SA1, not as linear, and the framerate was stuck at a smooth 60 fps most of the time. Tails should have been himself and not in some stupid half mech thing. Knuckles and Rouge the Bat was just a disgrace and became quite a chore finding those darned emeralds.

The voice acting for Sonic was quite bad, it should have never been Urkel. That was the worst choice anyone could have made.

Other than that, so far the Sonic games in 3d so far have been a mild success but dismally failed concept at bringing the old 2d Sonic games to 3d.

whats urkel?

Ever seen the old sitcom Family Matters? With the incredibly INCREDIBLY geeky kid, with the high-pitched voice, suspenders, and his pants pulled up to his waist?
